​Meet the Team


Jon Lee

Jon specializes in SAT and MCAT.
​

​Jon is a graduate of Brown University '21 with a B.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics. He scored perfect on the PSAT, SAT, Math subject test, and Chemistry subject test. Additionally, he scored perfect on the MCAT in 2019. He maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the tough pre-med and computer science courses and was cum laude at Phillips Exeter Academy, the top boarding school in the US. 


Not only does Jon have a strong academic background, but he also has a strong background as a teacher. He served as a teaching assistant for Introductory General Chemistry, Advanced General Chemistry, and Multivariable Calculus for Engineers. He also privately tutors SAT and AP Chemistry to local high schoolers in Providence. Lastly, he has coached boxing for the Brown Mixed Martial Arts club.

Catelyn Huang

Catelyn specializes in SAT and GMAT.

atelyn is a graduate of Brown University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics-Economics. She scored a 770/800 on the GMAT (~99.8 percentile). She maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and college (including a semester in Paris at the Sorbonne), and was elected to Brown's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa in her junior year.

​Catelyn has been tutoring since high school, where she tutored peers in a number of different subjects, from English to Calculus. She continued to tutor at Brown, with experience teaching both Economics and French.

Nick Wilmerding

Nick specializes in ACT.

Nick is a graduate of Yale University '24 majoring in Applied Physics. He scored perfect on the ACT (including all sub-scores), SAT Physics subject test, and SAT Math II subject test. Nick graduated summa cum laude from St. Andrew's School.

When he first arrived at Yale, Nick walked on to the varsity lightweight crew team, and he is an enthusiastic and hardworking teammate despite the 20+hr/week commitment and his tough course load. In addition, Nick helps coordinate the Yale Entrepreneurial Society's Internship Program, where he networks with early-stage companies and markets unique, high-energy work opportunities to undergraduates. In high school, Nick started Physics Help, a popular peer-tutoring service, because he loved teaching his classmates and helping younger students succeed. He also has experience tutoring the ACT, teaching high school calculus, and in college essay consulting.

Michael Wang

Michael specializes in LSAT.

Mike is a graduate of Brown University '22 with a B.A. in Comparative Literature in French, Chinese, and Spanish and currently is a J.D. Candidate at University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School '25. He achieved a perfect score on the LSAT. In high school, he was cum laude at Deerfield Academy, a college-preparatory boarding school in Massachusetts.

Michael has had a plethora of experience as a teacher and tutor. In high school, he served as a Peer Tutor as a sophomore and a Head Peer Tutor as a junior and a senior. He devoted over 500 hours of service to the program during his time at Deerfield, tutoring in subjects including French, Chinese, English, Physics, Precalculus, Algebra II, and AP Calculus BC. At Brown, he has served as a Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Microeconomics and Social Psychology, receiving average ratings of between 4.85-5 compared to department and university-wide averages of between 4.5-4.6.

Ryan Zang

Ryan specializes in LSAT.

Ryan is a graduate of Brown University ’21 with a B.A. in History and East Asian Studies and currently is a J.D. Candidate at Columbia Law School '25. He scored a 179 on the LSAT and had a 3.94 GPA at Brown University. Ryan also scored a 2350 on the old SAT and was a member of the Cum Laude Society at Berkshire School, a top private boarding school in the United States.

​Outside of academics, Ryan currently serves as an executive editor for both the Undergraduate Law Review and the Critical Review at Brown University. Ryan also loves teaching. He taught TOEFL and SSAT for many middle school students in China who aspired to study abroad in the U.S., and he served as a teaching assistant in Advanced Chinese language courses at Brown.

Sarah specializes in ACT Math and Science.
​
​Sarah is a junior at Brown University studying Mathematics and Computer Sceience. She got a perfect score on her ACT in her sophomore year of high school.

Sarah is strongly passionate about both learning and teaching, holding a plethora of experience with instruction, having tutored students of ages 5 through 18, both in person and online, in groups and individually, with both fixed and flexible curricula. She has tutored at Mathnasium for three years and has taught private lessons in Chemistry and Algebra II/Trigonometry. She also founded a free enrichment program in high school, where she taught young students topics ranging from food chemistry to space science, marine biology to game theory, in homes of piquing an early interest in STEM.
